Description

A creamy and tangy cheese ball coated with sweet and spicy pepper jelly, perfect for parties and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 16 oz (450 g) full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (100 g) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup (120 g) sweet & spicy pepper jelly
  • 1/4 cup (25 g) chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • Fresh black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup (100 g) finely chopped toasted pecans or mixed nuts for coating


Instructions

  1. Beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Fold in the cheddar and green onions.
  3. Gently stir in the pepper jelly and Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Shape the mixture into a ball on plastic wrap and chill covered for at least 1 hour.
  5. Roll the cheese ball in the finely chopped nuts to coat.

Notes

For a smoky-sweet version, try adding crispy bacon and maple syrup. Serve with assorted crackers and fruits for contrast.
