Description
Little handheld pastries stuffed with seasoned chicken, cheddar, and ranch, baked until golden and crispy, perfect for meals or snacks.
Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup taco seasoning
- 1/3 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (8 oz) crescent-roll dough (or 12 biscuit rounds)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, toss shredded chicken with taco seasoning, ranch dressing, and cheddar cheese.
- Cut the crescent-roll dough into squares.
- Place 1 Tbsp of the filling in the center of each square.
- Fold the squares over to enclose the filling and pinch edges to seal.
- Brush with beaten egg.
- Bake on a parchment-lined sheet for 12–16 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Adjust the fillings as desired. Keep the dough from getting too wet to avoid sogginess. Use an egg wash for a golden crust.
