Description

A delightful mash-up of Italian and Mexican flavors with large pasta shells filled with seasoned beef, cheese, and taco fixings, then baked to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara or taco sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar and Monterey Jack)
  • Fresh cilantro, diced tomatoes, or sliced jalapeños for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef with taco seasoning on the stovetop until fully cooked.
  2. Boil pasta shells until al dente and drain them.
  3. Stuff each shell with the beef mixture.
  4. Layer stuffed shells in a baking dish with sauce and cheese.
  5. Bake in the oven until bubbly and golden on top.

Notes

For best results, cook shells al dente to prevent breaking and consider using a blend of spices for taco seasoning.
