Description

A comforting casserole that combines seasoned ground beef, hearty vegetables, and crispy tater tots in a savory sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (frozen or fresh)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 package frozen tater tots (32 oz)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the diced onion over medium heat.
  3. Add the mixed vegetables and cook until slightly softened.
  4. Stir in flour, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and seasonings; cook until the mixture thickens.
  5. Transfer beef mixture to a baking dish and top with an even layer of frozen tater tots.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, until the tots are golden and crispy.
  7. Let the casserole rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
