Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (frozen or fresh)
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 package frozen tater tots (32 oz)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the diced onion over medium heat.
- Add the mixed vegetables and cook until slightly softened.
- Stir in flour, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and seasonings; cook until the mixture thickens.
- Transfer beef mixture to a baking dish and top with an even layer of frozen tater tots.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, until the tots are golden and crispy.
- Let the casserole rest for 5-10 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For crispier tater tots, consider uncovering the casserole for the last 10-15 minutes of baking. Serve with a fresh green salad.
