Description
Crisp, buttery spirals filled with garlicky richness — a snack that disappears fast at parties.
Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed, about 9 x 12 inches)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Pinch of salt
- Egg wash (optional)
Instructions
- Mix softened butter with minced garlic, grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, and a pinch of salt.
- Roll the puff pastry to smooth seams and spread the garlic-parm butter evenly over it.
- Tightly roll the pastry from the long side into a log and wrap in plastic, then chill for 15 minutes.
- Slice the log into 12–16 rounds about 3/4-inch thick.
- Place pinwheels on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with egg wash if using.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes until golden and puffed.
Notes
Consider using unflavored dental floss for clean cuts. Rotate the baking sheet halfway through for even browning.
