Description

Delightful Tree Meringue Cookies with a crunchy exterior and soft interior, perfect for any dessert table.


Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a clean mixing bowl, whip the egg whites until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add sugar and continue to whip until glossy and stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold in cornstarch and vanilla gently.
  5. Pipe the meringue into tree shapes on the lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 1 hour or until the meringues are dry and lift off cleanly from the sheet.

Notes
