Description
These bakery-style triple chocolate chip cookies are crisp at the edges, soft and chewy in the center, and loaded with three kinds of chocolate for maximum indulgence.
Ingredients
- 1 cup (226 g) room-temperature butter
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2¼ cups (280 g) all-purpose flour
- ½ cup (50 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¾ cup milk or dark chocolate chips
- ¾ cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Cream butter with granulated and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla, and mix to combine.
- Stir in flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until just combined.
- Fold in all three types of chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto a parchment-lined sheet.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 30–60 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers look soft.
- Let cookies rest on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.
Notes
For best texture, chill the dough for 30–60 minutes before baking. Press extra chocolate chips on top before baking for a bakery finish.
