Ingredients
- 1 (3-4 lb) chuck roast
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 1 jar sliced pepperoncini peppers (with juice)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Sear the beef roast on all sides in a hot skillet to develop a rich, brown crust.
- Place the roast in the crockpot and sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over it.
- Pour in the sliced pepperoncini and their juices.
- Set the crockpot on low and cook for about 8 hours.
- Shred the roast and serve over mashed potatoes, in a sandwich, or with vegetables.
