Ingredients

  • 4 ripe pears, sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Layer the sliced pears in the bottom of the dish.
  4. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the pears.
  5. Top with the dry cake mix, spreading it evenly over the pears.
  6. Pour the melted butter over the cake mix.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
